Hello, ecological creature!
Generative Worlding holds humans as rich webs of complex relationality; in other words, as ecological.
Ecological enquiry is a practise that ‘investigates’ our worldviews and cosmologies, blindspots and challenges, hopes and lived experiences so that we can discover just how much these are informed by each other, place, social constructs, interbeing, social systems, ecosystems, the more-than-human, current events, histories, ancestral lines, and possible futures.
Through this discovery, we realise how deeply relational and complex we are as individuals, groups, and organisations. This knowing can help us understand ourselves and each other, while also igniting a desire to move through this multispecies, multigenerational world with greater attunement, care, and response-ability.
Generative Worlding is excited to bring you into the room as a small group of guest circle members utilises ecological enquiry to discover what’s alive in the smallest and largest of our experiences, individually and collectively.
Generative Worlding is hosted and produced by Anna-Marie Swan. Her work includes exploring the reimagined story of ecological organisations, including the Ecological Organisations: A Design Lens (in creative commons), and developing ecological enquiry. She writes about her work and related subjects in the Substack Cellular Rearranging and co-stewards the Facilitation Pods commons.
Generative Worlding is available on a variety of platforms. Find your alternative listening options here.
See our guide for guest circle members here.
